Health & Safety Policy

Health & Safety Policy

Your wellbeing is our highest priority. At Queen of East Africa Luxury Tours, we are committed to ensuring that every journey is safe, comfortable, and in compliance with local and international health standards.

1. Travel Requirements

  • It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure they have the necessary valid passport, visas, vaccinations, and health documents required for travel.
  • We recommend consulting your healthcare provider about vaccines and medications relevant to East Africa (such as yellow fever, malaria prevention, or COVID-19 requirements).

2. Insurance

  • Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests, covering medical needs, emergency evacuation, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.
  • Guests choosing to travel without adequate coverage do so at their own risk.

3. Physical Readiness

  • Some activities, such as gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, or hot-air ballooning, may require a moderate level of physical fitness.
  • Guests with medical conditions or dietary needs must inform us at the time of booking so appropriate arrangements can be made.

4. On-Safari Safety

  • Guests are required to follow all safety instructions provided by guides, rangers, and camp staff.
  • Interaction with wildlife must always be respectful and at a safe distance.
  • For trekking experiences, porters are available to provide assistance and enhance comfort.

5. Emergency Support

  • We partner with lodges and operators that have strong safety protocols and access to medical evacuation services when required.
  • Our team is available 24/7 to support you throughout your journey.

While adventure travel comes with inherent risks, our role is to minimize them and ensure that your experience remains as safe and rewarding as it is unforgettable.
